Okay, admittedly I'm not the biggest coffee fan, but I do have a soft spot for iced coffee. Never black tho. However, all black outfits are always a major YES in my book. Honestly, I wear them regardless of the season or weather... much to my demise in tropic heat. But hey, at least I look good right? *nervous laugh*

Monochrome black looks are the easiest way to look polished and chic without having to try so hard, plus you get bonus points for looking like a badass. The trick is to not worry so much about having matching shades of black and more about having contrasting textures of black. Like here, the contrast between the denim skirt, shiny patent bag and ribbed bodysuit make it all work. 

There's something about this time of year that just makes me instinctively reach for black when getting ready. For this look, although made up of simple elements, I was able to elevate it by adding kitten heels, statement earrings & a red lip. Depending on the occasion, changing shoes and accessories could make this look more casual.
